Adam Bulley and Chas Mackenzie: Tickets sold out within days of being released and were still changing hands up to doors opening time! Every effort had been made by the Committee to ensure the wee Hall was looking it’s best for the last acoustic night of the year.
After an excellent opening set from Paul Docherty, Adam & Chas enthralled the audience with their energetic performance which was truly inspirational and, combined with their warm personalities, held the audience in rapture and left them wanting more. Many thanks to Paul for his continued assistance throughout the evening as well as hosting the end of evening open mic session. And what an open mic it was! Step up Chris, followed by Mathew, then Jackie, Graham, Tom and Jocelyn.Great to see our very own home-grown talent performing so well and Mathew truly deserved his standing ovation.
A profit of £262 was made on the night and will go directly towards the continued upkeep of the Hall. More fundraising events will be announced soon as well as our programme for the first quarter of next year. Watch this space.
